This winter will be full of new Star Wars content for fans to dive into.
When EA and developer DICE announced the Rogue One expansion at Star Wars Celebration Europe in July, it said it would be released "close" to the film's release on 16 December.
Of course that's not all.
In May, EA confirmed the development of a sequel targeting a release in late 2017, to tie in with the cinematic release of Rian Johnson's Star Wars: Episode 8. Get your first glimpse at Rogue One: Scarif with the expansion's official artwork above, and prepare to band together on the battlefront for an epic Star Wars adventure. The special edition of the game will be available as a boxed retail product, hitting stores in stores this November.
Star Wars Battlefront, the game based on the popular franchise released previous year on PC and consoles, is still receiving additional content and balance changes so to keep the experience as fresh as possible even months after release.
Death Star, the latest expansion came into the game, added 5 new maps and Battle Station mode, which revives nearly step by step the famous scene where Luke Skywalker destroys the space station in the Empire. "Be sure to keep an eye on our Live Events page to see what else is coming up in-game".
This December, you'll be able to discover characters, maps, and more from the upcoming movie in this exciting new digital expansion, featuring the tropical planet of Scarif.
