Tennessee is taking steps to extradite him.
The student, Elizabeth Thomas, has been rescued, officials said.

While Cummins was on the run, his wife, Jill Cummins, filed for divorce.

Wednesday, April 12, 2017: A prosecutor asked pharmacy employees to be on the lookout for Cummins and Thomas.
Cummins and Thomas had been in the cabin for about a week.
The girl was found safe on Thursday and the teacher was arrested. The teen was last seen at a local restaurant and her family reported her missing that afternoon.
