Mourinho vows to rest Man Utd players at Arsenal

London [U.K], May 5 (ANI): Despite Marcus Rashford firing Manchester United to a first-leg advantage against Celta Vigo, manager Jose Mourinho has said that he was not at all satisfied with the result of Europa League semi-final tie.

United, who edged past Celta Vigo by a solitary Marcus Rashford goal in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final on Thursday, are a place and five points ahead of Arsenal who have a game in hand. At half-time it should be already, I don't want to say three, but two, and the result is open and I think we did enough to have the result closed.

Celta Vigo's John Guidetti has warned Manchester United that a 2-1 Old Trafford victory is well within the Spanish side's grasp. "He had a fantastic chance in the first half that forced a attractive save".

"I think the last match against Swansea was our last chance to fight for top four, so I am going to rest players", he added, referring to United's 1-1 home draw last weekend.

Rashford, who netted an extra-time victor against Anderlecht in the quarterfinals, drove a right-foot strike over the wall and into the far left corner in the 67th minute, securing United the advantage going into the second leg in Manchester next week.

Things looked to be getting a bit shaky in the second period with Sergio Romero been tested by Pione Sisto but Rashford made the difference with his excellent set piece, Mourinho stated his dissatisfaction with result but was quick to praise the efforts of his players.

"It's part and parcel of football", Lingard said. A kid that finishes the training session and stays half an hour more every day to practice free-kicks and waits for the opportunity.

"His mentality. He works, he works, he works. He is very mature so let's forget the age because what matters is not the age, but the quality".

"The free-kick is work".

Daniel Wass sent a header horribly wide after a precise cross from Nemanja Radoja in the 10th minute, but the Red Devils took control from there with goalkeeper Sergio Alvarez producing a string of superb saves to keep the hosts in.

"He worked really hard and created problems", he said after the game.
