Suspect arrested in New York City attack on German tourist

Police said the incident was the last of three robbery incidents by Robinson in the area dating back to April 24, two of which included groping women victims.

"I have a gun", he said, according to cops.

Keon Robinson, a 28-year-old registered sex offender, was arrested on charges of attempted rape, robbery, assault and sex abuse. "Give me your money", the man told the victim before fleeing with $40, according to cops.

They say Robinson is seen in surveillance video viciously attacking a woman, slugging her repeatedly in the face, knocking her teeth out and sexually assaulting her.

The 31-year-old woman was walking westbound along West 146th Street to her Airbnb rental in Harlem at about 2:50 a.m. on May 4 when a man grabbed her purse, struck her repeatedly in the face, and sexually assaulted her, police said. The attack was so violent some of her teeth were knocked out.

He then pulled down her underwear, took off her dress, and sexually assaulted her, police said. "He then proceeds to punch her several times, puts her on the ground, and then sexually assaults her on the ground".

"I heard something like somebody throwing away some garbage".

The suspect left behind a trail of blood leading into a nearby building where police found a bloody handprint, police said. "She never cried. She never screamed, you know, 'Help!' No, I didn't hear nothing like that". He is also being looked at in another assault that predates his 2006 conviction.

Three days later, he mugged a 24-year-old man outside 701 W. 139th St. about 4 a.m., police said. Boyce said that Robinson was originally paroled a year ago, but violated the conditions of release and was sent back to prison for final discharge in January. Police said he is a level 3 sex offender who was recently released from prison this past January.
