Two more arrests over Manchester attack: British police

On Monday (May 22) a suicide bomber took the lives of 22 people who attended a sold out Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena.

Nearly one week after a suicide bomber killed 22 and wounded dozens more at her Manchester Arena appearance, Ariana Grande has announced she plans to return to Manchester for a benefit concert to raise money for attack victims. "The way you have handled all of this has been more inspiring and made me more proud than you'll ever know", she said.

The 23-year-old, who suspended her tour and returned to her Florida home after the tragedy, said she planned a concert as "an expression of love for Manchester".

Grande expressed her "deepest condolences" for them and called for fans to "come closer together" as a response to violence committed during her concert on Monday.

The singer, 26, has cancelled dates through June 5 on her worldwide tour after 22 were killed and dozens injured at the conclusion of her show at Manchester Arena.

The Scottish Sun features an image of a young girl in the arms of a police officer in the hours after the Manchester bombing and says the child lost her mother, Michelle Kiss, to the blast.

Mr McCaul said evidence so far suggests "we're not dealing with a lone wolf situation", adding: "There's a network - a cell of ISIS-inspired terrorists".

Six men and one woman have been arrested and were being held in custody, with the probe widening beyond Manchester to Nuneaton in central England.

Manchester police has said, according to local media, that one of the men was arrested following a property search in the Withington area of Manchester, while another was detained elsewhere in the city.

Police believe suicide bomber Salman Abedi, who was born in the city, acted as part of a network.

Several high-profile sporting events are coming up in Britain, including the soccer FA Cup final at London's Wembley Stadium and the English rugby club competition final at Twickenham on Saturday and the UEFA Champions League final at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on June 3.

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said in London Friday that the U.S. accepts responsibility for the leaks.
