Ariana Grande benefit concert for Manchester airs on ABC7 Sunday

It is no secret that Ariana Grande was deeply marked by the Manchester concert bombing, and now, the singer chose to visit some of the survivors in the hospital.

A 14-year-old injured in the Manchester Arena attack is "buzzing" after Ariana Grande visited the hospital where she is recovering, her mum said.

Mills had to have an operation after her legs and chest were seriously damaged during the attack.

At first, a rep for the hospital claimed it was a private visit, but it looks like the star made a decision to visit more than just one patient.

One Love Manchester, the benefit concert being led tomorrow night by Ariana Grande, will be seen live in over 50 countries, BBC Worldwide said today.

"It was (a) tough realisation that we thought we may have lost her", he shared.

"All the children and parents were so happy she came", Lauren Thorpe, whose daughter is in the hospital, told CNN.

"Millie and Evie were going to be separated - due to their injuries - to different hospitals", Mrs Mills said.

Who will the proceeds go to?

"So just seeing them smile and having 20 minutes, half an hour of pure happiness is unbelievable".

"These teenagers, we spoke to them on the phone and they said they'd stay with her".

Grande and a host of celebrities are in the city to perform at a benefit concert on Sunday.

"We're working hard to get tickets direct to fans".

"She's now ready to go for tomorrow's concert", he added. "They've really tried but they need to concentrate on nursing and caring".

The mega-gig which will feature performances by Ariana plus Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Take That, Niall Horan, Little Mix, Robbie Williams and Black Eyed Peas, will begin at 6.55pm United Kingdom time on Sunday (04June17).
