Dave Chappelle staging all-star New York residency

Donald Glover and Dave Chappelle make up two of the hottest names in entertainment, and on Monday (June 12), the duo announced a one night only performance at New York's Radio City Music Hall. Special guest artists throughout the run include The Roots, Chris Rock, Erykah Badu, Trevor Noah, Childish Gambino, and Ali Wong, with more to be announced.

The Aug. 15 date is reserved for a "very special guest".

The tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 16, but we have to wonder if Donald Glover is showing up, or if Childish Gambino is. A Ticketmaster listing spotted by Billboard Monday lists Dave Chappelle & Childish Gambino: Live From Radio City for August 19 at 8 p.m. ET. A partnership with Netflix yielded hilarious hour specials The Age of Spin and Deep in the Heart of Texas and his triumphant return will continue on to August 19th at Radio City Music Hall. While they were met with some controversy from the media, they both still received praise from his die-hard fans and the online community.

Rapper and actor Childish Gambino will be joining him, after a bittersweet headlining performance at Governors Ball 2017.
