Liverpool join race to sign 18-year-old Hull City defender

Tymon played 325 minutes of Premier League football this season, while he also made five appearances as Hull reached the League Cup semi-finals.

As reported by ESPN FC, Aston Villa is one of the contenders for the transfer of promising your defender Josh Tymon, who now plays for Hull.

The 18-year-old is yet to agree a professional contract with the Tigers despite breaking into their first-team last season. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool are able to convince the youngster to make the switch to Anfield.
