More earthquakes felt in Oklahoma

The U.S. Geological Survey says two more earthquakes were recorded in Kansas during the Memorial Day weekend, bringing the total to nine earthquakes in May.

The agency says an natural disaster with a magnitude of 2.6 was recorded Sunday.

A magnitude 3.2 temblor occurred at 3:23 a.m. about 10 miles south-southeast of Waynoka at a depth of 3.1 miles. On Tuesday, three earthquakes were also recorded in the Perry area.

A 3.4 magnitude quake was recorded near the town of Pawnee, in Pawnee County early Wednesday. A weaker quake, 2.7 magnitude, was recorded about 6:45 p.m., according to the USGS.

No injuries or damage are reported.

Pawnee is the site of Oklahoma's strongest natural disaster on record - a 5.8 magnitude quake that hit last September and caused extensive damage.
