New Microsoft console is the Xbox One X

As such, the famous Project Scorpio will be in fact named Xbox One X, and it will be released all around the world on November 7. And now it's responding.

Its technical specifications had been announced in April 2017, making it clear that the Xbox One X would outdo the PlayStation 4 Pro, its nearest console rival, in terms of raw power.

It's E3 2017! On 10th June, the event kicked off and we've already gotten a brand-new gaming console in Xbox One X during the Microsoft press conference. It will be different from any other Xbox console filled with many different features.

Will third parties prioritize 4K 60fps gaming on Xbox One X?

The Xbox One X's name raised a few eyebrows, with some gamers describing it as a "tongue-twister" online. We won't know for certain how well it compares with the Sony's machine until November, when the Xbox One X will be released.

One of the announcements that delighted fans at the E3 was the one about extending the backward compatibility programme for Xbox in order to include the original console too. They noted the small resolution boost and wondered whether Microsoft could get customers to pay $100 more for it. Of course, Microsoft promised that the enhanced processing power of the console will lead to smoother FPS and better overall rendering, but it's hard to fully enjoy having a hardcore gaming console with the knowledge that you're not getting the most out of it. First of all, Spencer fully admits that the new Xbox One X is going to be a niche console. It seems clear that Microsoft isn't anxious about that price gap between the two consoles since the company doesn't see them as direct competitors.

Microsoft's latest console is part of an effort to gain ground against Sony's PlayStation 4.

Xbox fans have been on edge since Microsoft first teased "Project Scorpio" (rumored name) at E3 past year by sharing just a glimpse of the new hardware. The PS4 is a bargain at a fairer price, superb graphics and they have a wider collection of games to offer.

That being said, I think it will do better than PS4 Pro mainly because it's more powerful and because it has more features like true 4K gaming and 4K Blu Ray disc support. In addition, the system is rumored to be powerful enough and capable of utilizing virtual reality technologies.

Phil Spencer has been outspoken in the past about his dislike of "console wars", and today he reiterated that stance.
