Salman Khan's 'Dabangg 3' NOT to be directed by Arbaaz Khan

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, whose new movie "Tubelight" has a war backdrop, says wars between nations can come to an end if those who order wars are sent to the front with guns. Salman features in the movie with Sohail.

In statements that might trigger another controversy when India's relations with Pakistan are at a new low, superstar Salman Khan today called for peace since both sides lose lives in a war, which therefore can not be a sensible move.

Tubelight: Salman Khan says the film isn't about the war but families who wait for the war to get over. Families lose their sons, brothers, fathers. "They have to live their whole lives without them", he said. He went on to add that war is no solution, and advocated for dialogues between India and Pakistan so there is peace. The film - directed by Kabir Khan and based on the Hollywood movie Little Boy - apparently delivers a message of peace. Hoping for better relationship between the two countries, Khan said that we need to think about our soldiers first and war is not the solution.

Ali Abbas Zafar's action thriller Tiger Zinda Hai, starring Salman opposite Katrina Kaif, is slated to release this Christmas. When you can discuss the conflict across the table, why go to war?

Salman Khan's brother Sohail Khan, who was also present added saying that how war is a negative emotion but still it happens. "No one has supported it, but it still happens, and no one knows why".

Mumbai: Salman Khan, who on World Environment Day launched e-cycles under his Being Human brand, recently took the bike for a ride in the middle of the city.
