Xbox One X set for November worldwide release

Speaking with IGN, Spencer said that the studio did consider multiple names for Project Scorpio before settling for Xbox One X. One of these names was ELITE but it was turned down because both Xbox One and Xbox 360 had SKUs called ELITE.

There are now 460 Xbox games available on the Xbox 360.

Smaller than the previous Xbox One models, this newest edition ships on 7th November and will cost $499/£449. One of those looks awesome and the other is the new Assassin's Creed game.

Game play on 4K screens, whether they be televisions or personal computer monitors, is expected to be among themes at E3 this week. It's the same "Skryim" you already know and love, but now you can play the game entirely from within virtual reality. But from the system's official reveal, Microsoft has a pricey console whose power isn't being fully utilized by developers.

One of the best games of the past 10 years, "Skyrim", is coming to the PlayStation 4 VR headset. The company did announce 42 new games to go with the console, however.

Switch launched at the start of March and some 2.74 million were sold by the end of that month, according to Nintendo.

However, Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter says the "pricey" Xbox One X could become a hard sell for Microsoft.

This will make it the ultimate 4K console but Microsoft also says that older titles will also be improved with better textures, smoother frame rates and faster load times. There's no word on a release date or price for Hyperkin's Duke controller for Xbox One, but we could possibly expect it sometime around the Xbox One X launch.

Microsoft's latest console is part of an effort to gain ground against Sony's PlayStation 4.
