'Bachelor' Producers Sued for Alleged Sexual Harassment

In a report from the organization, Steenhoek claims several producers on the set of the production mocked her "sexual inexperience and conservative views about sex" by asking her several "inappropriate questions".

In court documents obtained by E! She alleges that during production for JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette previous year, she was repeatedly asked inappropriate questions-and says that when she complained, she faced retribution and, ultimately, got fired.

She is suing for damages for sexual harassment and hostile work environment, sex discrimination, retaliation, failure to prevent harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination.

The suit names five producers, the show's production company Warner Bros., and "Bachelor" creator Mike Fleiss' production company NZK Productions.

"We take all allegations of workplace harassment very seriously", Warner Bros. said in a statement. "These allegations were brought to our attention and were thoroughly investigated earlier this year", said a statement from the company. However, their "findings" didn't corroborate the plaintiff's "characterization" of the events which transpired.

Steenhoek says in the lawsuit that the producers named would ask her invasive questions like "Is your vagina shaved?"; "How often do you masturbate?"; and "Do you enjoy giving hand jobs?"

Steenhoek says she eventually confided in a producer about the incessant questioning, and was dismissed with a, "This is the way of the industry and world that we work in", and told to brush off the disturbing inquiries as "locker-room talk". She alleges that while filming JoJo Fletcher's The Bachelorette, she was the butt of inappropriate sexual jokes and frequently asked sex-based questions by her male colleagues that were created to make her uncomfortable.

The former production assistant claims soon after she complained about this harassment her duties were diminished and she was soon told she wouldn't be needed for the rest of the season.

Since being fired from the show, Steenhoek has moved to Texas, where she lives with family and is trying to "work through things" after a dark time.

Warner Brothers Entertainment was hit with a lawsuit by a former employee named, Becky Steenhoek, for alleged sexual harassment according to Us Weekly.

"I think it's an industry-wide problem - these executives are untouchable", she said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. She claimed to the publication, "You could visibly tell it was very uncomfortable to me to witness, just because they did make comments like, 'Oh, Becky's blushing, ' or 'Her ears are probably burning.'" She claimed that when she got embarrassed it was "fun" for them. "And then here I am being fired because of that reason".
