Gal Gadot in talks to star in Nazi revenge thriller Ruin

Not much is known about the project except the storyline - which will follow a former Nazi captain as he travels to post-World War II Germany to make amends for his crimes by hunting down the members of the SS Death Squad that worked under him. Though Wonder Woman has become more prominent in the Justice League marketing lately, Gadot herself insists Justice League is not just a Wonder Woman movie with some other DC heroes thrown in (though given the success of Wonder Woman, that might not be the worst idea). This year's "Wonder Woman" was a blockbuster for Warner Bros. with $821 million in worldwide box office.

By the end of next year, Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins will be back on the set of a Wonder Woman movie, preparing Wonder Woman 2 for an end-of-2019 release. She is also attached to star opposite Bradley Cooper in MGM's supernatural thriller "Deeper."

While "Wonder Woman 2" plans to start production not later than 2018, a report from Screen Rant added that Gadot's upcoming role to the "Ruins" is already under negotiations. Justin Kurzel will direct Ruin, described as a revenge thriller in the vein of Fury or Inglourious Basterds, from a script by Matthew and Ryan Firpo. The Australian director's 2015 adaptation of William Shakespeare's Macbeth was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, and he also helmed 2016's Assassin's Creed, based on the video game franchise of the same name.

Further, the Israeli actress is set to showcase her acting skills in forthcoming film, as she fights against the evil Germans.
