Harvey Weinstein tricked by email prankster

The wife of disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein said Tuesday that the two would be splitting following the publication of a series allegations of sexual misconduct against the famed film producer including claims he raped an Italian film star and two other women.

"Fighting for Planned Parenthood and protecting women's rights, this president has fought the good fight", Weinstein said at the time. "I was a kid, I was signed up, I was petrified", Paltrow told the newspaper. "But I am not revealing any of that publicly because that's between you and me". The Weinstein Company board said on Tuesday that they would help any criminal investigation.

"I'm sick - I need your advice".

Arquette also said that she rejected Weinstein's advances and that she believes her career suffered as a result.

"Michelle and I have been disgusted by the recent reports about Harvey Weinstein", Obama said in a joint statement with former First Lady Michelle Obama.

She said she told her then-boyfriend Brad Pitt about the incident, and said he confronted Weinstein.

At the daily briefing, which took place after Clinton posted her statement, Sanders said, "I don't know if he has seen Secretary Clinton's statement, so I haven't had a chance to talk to him about that, so I don't want to weigh in on what his reaction might be on that front".

"Hi, this is Lindsay Lohan", the 31-year-old actress said.

She said she felt "obliged" to submit, however, and anxious that he would ruin her career if she rejected him.

Other allegations in the piece came from Mira Sorvino, who won an Oscar in 1996 for her role in Mighty Aphrodite for Miramax, a studio headed by Weinstein at the time.

According to the New Yorker, Gutierrez says Weinstein "lunged at her, groping her breasts and attempting to put a hand up her skirt" at a meeting in his offices in Tribeca.

Weinstein has denied all charges, according to a statement from his spokeswoman Sallie Hofmeister, circulated among U.S. media.

Audio of their conversation in a hallway at the Tribeca Grand Hotel was released by the magazine, with Weinstein heard repeatedly trying to persuade her to come into his room.

"Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr Weinstein", she said. "Mr Weinstein has begun counselling, has listened to the community and is pursuing a better path".
