Hulk Will Evolve From Thor: Ragnarok Through Avengers 3 & 4

But if things had turned out the way Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige had hoped a few years ago, Goldblum would not be in this current scene-stealing role - and Feige is very happy things didn't work out back then. That actor is none other than Jeff Goldblum.

"And we had come close", he continued.

Feige was referring to Senator Brandt, the character who took notice of Steve's marketing potential and convinced him to join the USO tour. "And he either wasn't available or wasn't interested or whatever", he said. That part is, admittedly, quite a small one, and could have been somewhat of a waste of Goldblum's unique personality that fans will see in full effect in Thor: Ragnarok. "And thank goodness, because that would have just been a small thing and instead we got to wait for the Grandmaster, which is about as awesome as a Jeff Goldblum 'Goldblum-iness" could be". (You know, typical sadistic supervillain stuff.) The Grandmaster's proclivity for death-spectating eventually leads to a fight between Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), which the eccentric antagonist dubs the "main event".

One of the most common complaints about the Marvel Cinematic Universe is that the movies have the same look, but whether you want to make the case for that argument or not, one thing's for certain: this newest batch of movies seems to prove that Feige has heard those complaints and is looking to destroy them in a four-movie swoop.

Marvel continue to push the promotional campaign for Thor: Ragnarok with a new TV clip for the upcoming blockbuster threequel featuring some previously unseen footage which sees Thor - the God of Thunder and Prince of Asgard - trying to pass himself off as the strongest Avenger, only to be left disappointed... In this photo, the actor arrives at the premiere of the film "Independence Day: Resurgence" in Hollywood on June 20, 2016.
