Microsoft Edge browser preview available for Android and iOS

Microsoft Edge browser preview available for Android and iOS

For all the problems Windows 10 Mobile may have, one of the advantages it offers over iOS and Android was deeper compatibility with Windows on PC. The app is available in Preview for now, and it's open to any Android user. Microsoft says that this is the "most attractive, customizable, powerful launcher" that's available for Android devices.

Microsoft is now running the Microsoft Launcher as a preview for users; indicating that there will still be some bugs and problems. First and foremost is the "Continue on PC" option, which also debuted earlier today on the Microsoft Launcher, previously known as Arrow Launcher.

Like other popular launchers, the Microsoft Launcher goes beyond the look and feel of the interface to include a special panel call "The Feed" that presents things like top news, activities, upcoming events, and more information for users.

Microsoft is bringing its Edge browser to Apple iOS and Android devices, starting with a public preview.

It's no surprise then that this new version of Edge promises to make it easier to connect your PC and mobile device, with easy syncing of your browser sessions and other features.

Are you holding on to the Windows 10 Mobile dream? This is essentially unavoidable on that platform, as Apple's rules preclude the development of third-party browser engines.

At that time it was their goal to replace the more complex launchers on Android to simplify the Android launcher experience.

For the most part, the Microsoft Launcher does what most Android launchers do. Right now, the feature is limited to favorites and reading list, but passwords and Microsoft Store purchases are said to be coming at a later date as well. Microsoft Launcher was built using Google's Fluent design language and gives you quick access to your recent photos, documents, and your oft-used contacts.

Microsoft Launcher for Android features the Continue on PC functionality for streamlined workflow from your mobile device.
