OH boy missing from crime scene believed to be in danger

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, 8-year-old Devin Holston lived at a home in the 15000 block of State Route 93 in Pedro where three adults were found shot to death at about 7pm, Wednesday.

The surviving victim alerted police that 8-year-old Devin Holston was missing from the home. This victim was suffering from apparent stab wounds to the neck and head and was flown by helicopter to Cabell Huntington Hospital. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has been contacted and is assisting in the search.

Authorities say Aaron Lawson, 23, 15868 State Route 93, is a person of interest in the crimes.

Holston is described as being 4-feet-8-inches tall, 80 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Lawson was spotted by Deputies on SR 141 near CR 52 driving a Blue Chevy truck at about 12:30 AM and a pursuit ensued. He was last seen Wednesday night at approximately 7 p.m.in the city of Pedro in Lawrence County.

Police gave chase, and Lawson crashed his vehicle into a ditch.

No names of any of the victims have been released due to police trying to notify relatives.

"Aaron Lawson is described as 5'9" tall, weighing around 140 lbs, with brown hair, and hazel eyes.

Agents from Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification are on the scene processing and collecting evidence.
