Tim Hortons Is Selling Buffalo Sauce Lattes

This has been a season for upheavals in the coffee world.

While every coffee shop and their mother rolls out pumpkin and maple-flavored lattes, Tim Hortons ran in the complete opposite direction and launched a Buffalo Latte.

Just when some people are getting sick of the pumpkin spice latte, a pair of Tim Hortons locations in Buffalo, N.Y., are taking the trend in a freakish new direction. It's all but certain that the bar where Buffalo sauce originated would never allow it anywhere near dairy that isn't blue cheese, but the complaint ship probably sailed once the condiment started flavoring soda and kale chips. "The unlikely pairing of sweet mocha and tangy Buffalo sauce come together to create an unexpectedly delicious sweet and spicy treat we hope our guests will enjoy".

The promo photos for the latte show the red powder-dusted drinks alongside a plate of the famous hot wings, which may or may not be a serving suggestion - although chicken wings are certainly not a staple of the Tim Hortons menu.

The temperatures are dropping, footballs are flying, and Fall is absolutely upon us.

In a press release, Tim Hortons explained that the latte was "made from freshly brewed espresso, steamed milk, mocha, and bold Buffalo sauce flavor", then had Buffalo seasoning sprinkled on top.
