After several reschedules, Moto X4 to launch today

Motorola is all set to launch its upcoming smartphone Moto X4 with Amazon's Alexa voice assistant in India today.

The Moto X4 is a mid-range model but it is a premium mid-ranger and was first unveiled for Europe at IFA Berlin in September. The Moto X4 is already listed on Motorola's USA website; however India might get this smartphone with different specifications. In terms of specifications, the Moto X4 has a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The processor is clubbed with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB by inserting a microSD card. The Moto X4 packs a 3000mAh battery which also supports 15W TurboPower. It is also capable of recording slow-motion videos, shoot in Panorama, and Manual mode among other modes.

At the time of the launch, the company claimed that the smartphone can click images with depth detection and depth effects. The main camera is a 12MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, and the 8MP secondary camera with an f/2.2 aperture is equipped with a wide-angle lens. Phone makers say that Moto x4 Android One includes the best-in-class experiences from Google.

Another highlight of the Moto X4 is its dual rear camera setup, with one 12-megapixel dual autofocus sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels, and one 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor with 120-degree field of view, f/2.2 aperture, and 1.12-micron pixels.

The design is definitely distinctive, something Motorola fans will appreciate in terms of pricing.
