Masked man: Irving returns as Celtics win 13th straight

It was Irving's first game back since he suffered a minor facial fracture during Friday's game against the Charlotte Hornets.

Brown, of course, was selected with the No. 3 pick in the 2016 National Basketball Association draft, a selection Boston received from Brooklyn as part of that famous 2013 trade.

Not that they really need it, with wins in 12 straight games, including a 95-94 nailbiter of a win over the Raptors on Sunday, but the Celtics could get a boost on Tuesday night.

Celtics coach Brad Stevens said: "It's going to be pain tolerance, comfort with the mask".

Facial fractures are obviously bad, and disgusting, and nobody likes them, but National Basketball Association players wearing masks while shredding their bare-faced opponents-especially if those masks make them look like a cross between Zorro and Batman-is definitely a cool thing. "I'd say that's between him and our medical staff, but he went through everything this morning and hopefully he'll be available". He also wore a mask in 2012, after fracturing his jaw while playing for Cleveland. He donned a transparent face mask during the game and went on to lead all scorers with 25 points.

The Celtics, winners of 12 in a row, have the best record in the National Basketball Association.
