South Park: Phone Destroyer Launches Today, Accompanied by Launch Trailer

Teased back in mid-June, South Park: Phone Destroyer is now available worldwide for Android users.

From South Park Digital Studios comes a real-time battle game like nothing you've ever experienced before! Picking up from one of the games, you continue playing as the South Park "new kid" in a cowboy and indian setting. Before you get into the action, however, you're presented with a familiar sight-albeit with a few differences to account for this being a free-to-play, microtransaction-based game. Following the same humoristic style that can be found in PC games like South Park: The Fractured But Whole and South Park: The Stick of Truth, the new mobile title will allow players to take part in roughly 60 single-player missions and online PVP with other players of the game.

Apart from receiving rewards and collect cards to advance in "South Park: Phone Destroyer", gamers can also level up their abilities via in-app purchases that cost anywhere from $2 to $70. The game proper pushes plenty of premium currency, with powerful rare and epic cards on offer for those willing to reach into their virtual wallets for real money. The basic mechanics of the game are quite traditional - a card-based role-playing game (RPG) where players throw new cards onto the battlefield to add new characters to their army, unleash special attacks and unique power-ups as they play. Everything in the game is available to all players as they progress, whether they choose to spend real-world money or not. Gamers who are interested will be able to download the game via the iTunes App Store or Google Play.
