Alec Baldwin Prepping Talk Show for ABC

Alec Baldwin Prepping Talk Show for ABC

A source says that the former "30 Rock" star will begin to tape episodes in NY next week.

The series will be inspired by Baldwin's WNYC radio show Here's The Thing With Alec Baldwin.

Now, the actor and Donald Trump impressionist is planning to team up with ABC for a full-on talk show.

Sources emphasized to TRP that the deal isn't finalized, but it would expand Baldwin's relationship with ABC where he now hosts the show Match Game. Baldwin has honed a decent impression of the president by this time, and he's now frequently in front of the cameras performing his exaggerated impersonation on "Saturday Night Live".

The production is part of the deal Baldwin signed to continue hosting the ABC game show "Match Game", according to Page Six.

As Variety reported at the time, the deal means Baldwin's El Dorado Pictures will develop projects with ABC Studios.

Baldwin walked out on stage to accept his award and started off his speech with 'At long last, Mr. President, here is your Emmy'.

Trump has never won an Emmy for any edition of his prior hit show "The Apprentice".

Baldwin's "Here's the Thing" podcast began in 2011 and the actor has interviewed a number of celebrities.
