Devil May Cry HD Collection Announced, Coming March 2018

This ought to twitterpate folks on a dreary winter's day: Capcom has announced that the Devil May Cry Collection is coming to multiple platforms in 2018. Featuring three games, silky smooth 60fps gameplay, and a wide variety of enemies, weapons and styles to experiment with, Devil May Cry HD Collection is the ideal compilation for those looking to get their stylish combat fix. The games present an even more polished look, and they are confirmed to run at 60 FPS, making them the ideal choice for a fan of thrilling and furious action games.

Focusing on the origins of our favorite demon hunter, this prequel features a much younger and more rambunctious Dante who cares very little about how much damage he's doing to even his own shop as long as he can chew his pizza and kick some butt. As with some of the greatest epic tales, complicated family relationships take a big portion of the story, with Dante's relation with his brother Vergil being part of many entries.

The Devil May Cry HD Collection, originally released on PlayStation 3, will be released on March 13th globally on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for the price of $29.99.

Capcom didn't detail whether this would is a port of the 2011 HD Collection, with no additional new features or any new effects.

This announcement will be further fuel on the rumour-fire surrounding an imminent reveal of Devil May Cry 5; possibly at tonight's Game Awards, or perhaps at the weekend PSX event.
