Sunil Ambris steps on his stumps...again

Well, he's done it again.

Batting only for the third time in his fortnight-long global career, Ambris was dismissed hit-wicket for the second time in the ongoing second Test between New Zealand and West Indies in Hamilton on Sunday.

He followed that up with a six off his ball in the second dig, becoming just the sixth man to get off the mark in Test cricket with a maximum. That created test history as the 24-year-old became the first player to make a hit-wicket golden duck.

Rookie West Indies batsman Sunil Ambris treads on his own stumps for the second time in as many tests.

Ambris knocked a short ball from Boult into the leg side but the delivery pushed the right-hander back and his right foot collided with the stumps - watch the unlucky moment at the top of the page!

He is now the only player in Test cricket history to be dismissed hit wicket twice in his first two Tests, and the fourth to suffer the terrible dismissal in consecutive Tests.

Earlier in the day Kiwi tail-enders Tim Southee and Boult put on 61 for the last wicket as the hosts made 373 in their first innings. New Zealand lead the two-match series 1-0 after notching up an innings and 67-run victory over the visitors in the first Test at the Basin Reserve.
