The Google Home Max Is Now Available In The US

Best Buy has the Charcoal and Chalk variants available for purchase with free shipping by Wednesday, December 13, but Verizon only has Chalk with the Charcoal one apparently already sold out.

The new Home Max retails for $399 in the USA and the device is available from a number of retailers, this includes Best Buy and Verizon Wireless, the device does not appear to be available as yet from the Google Store. The Google Store still shows an option for joining a waitlist, and it's unclear exactly when this will change. You can pair it with another Max, group with other Home units for multi-room audio, and of course, talk to it and the Assistant to set reminders, get the weather, order stuff, and control your smart home. Well, December is nearly halfway through and we're starting to see the Home Max pop up on a couple of stores. Google claims that it offers 20 times more powerful sound than the original Google Home. In addition, the company has also included artificial intelligence to enhance the overall audio experience. With the new feature called Smart Sound, the Home Max can adapt to your environment, your context, and your preferences.

Still no word on Google Store availability.
