THQ Nordic is working on a new Jagged Alliance game

Fade to Silence is set to launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Black Forest Games has announced Fade to Silence, a "character-driven, group survival game". The game is post-apocalyptic and takes place in a ruined future, with the trailer showing the protagonist guiding a sled team of huskies as he avoids falling rusted cars as he passes derelict space shuttles. Players will attempt to survive in a frozen wasteland while establishing a refuge for survival. while also fighting eldritch horrors, according to the game's description.

The plan is for approximately eight months of early access release followed by a final release in August 2018. Much of your survival will depend on how well you read weather patterns and whether you decide to seek shelter or press on.

The game will feature a dynamic weather system that forces players to courageous the harsh elements.

"We intend to bring Steam players consistent and meaningful content updates throughout development, layering on new areas, followers, missions, monsters, and increasingly complex social events - events that demand moral decision-making on the part of the player", Adrian Goersch, boss of developer Black Forest Games, said. Fade to Silence promises dynamic, accumulating snow, real-time snow trails, and completely immersive weather effects. "This telltale sign will tell you regions where it is good to hunt and regions where monsters are roaming".
