Trevor Noah goes after Trump for slurred speech, launches #DentureDonald

The slurred word prompted questions on social media about why the president stumbled over the phrase at the end of his speech.

"As disturbing as it was to watch Donald Trump add fuel to the Middle East conflict", Noah said on the Comedy Central show, "It was even more disturbing to watch the conflict between Donald Trump's teeth and his tongue". "What the hell was going on?"

Last month, Trump had an awkward water-bottle moment during a speech recapping his 12-day trip to Asia.

But Noah wants to give Trump another chance, and plays the video again, suggesting that "maybe it wasn't as bad as it seemed".

"It sounds like he just had a drink with Bill Cosby". Late night hosts mostly fell into the Trump-Wears-Dentures camp, though MSNBC's Morning Joe, for instance, argued hard that Trump suffers from a mentally impairment. "We all know what was going on here".

#DentureDonald appeared high on Twitter trends Thursday thanks to Trevor Noah.

While insisting there is no shame in wearing dentures, Noah said there is shame in Donald Trump having dentures, because "he's vain as hell". "His dentures would start falling out, and then he wouldn't be able to finish his shentensh".

"Think about it: fake teeth, fake hair, fake tan". He goes on to emphasize that there's no shame in wearing dentures - but for a man with the supposed vanity of Donald Trump, actually, there's a lot of shame. Don't do it, don't do it, I'm just saying can you imagine how he'd feel. One sign that it was unlikely to be a bigger medical concern: After the speech, Trump walked over to a desk, pulled out the chair, sat down and signed a proclamation.

"His throat was dry", White House spokesman Raj Shah said.

Of course, it's not the first time Trump has butchered the English language.
