Ubisoft has delayed the release of The Crew 2

Slightly disappointing news coming out of Ubisoft, as it announces that three of its upcoming games are to suffer delays: Far Cry 5, The Crew 2 and an as-yet-unannounced third game.

Ubisoft has made the decision to push back Far Cry 5's release date in order to remain "in line with our strategic vision of developing even more engaging and higher quality experiences for gamers", Ubisoft's Christine Burgess-Quémard said, with it being delayed by one month. And that unannounced game, which is said to be one of three unannounced franchise titles, has been pushed to fiscal 2019-20.

Additional time needed for both titles.

We imagine the Far Cry 5delay will allow the development team to smooth out some of the later development stage issues like framerate and minor bugs.

The success of Assassin's Creed Origins is largely deserved, due to the favorable critical reception.

Far Cry 5 is now slated for a March 27th, 2018 release, as opposed to releasing on February 27th.

The Crew 2 is an open-world game that will span across all of the United States.

Finally, an unannounced game has been delayed until sometime between 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020. That fact that they say that the next installment of the Far Cry series is the most ambitious yet is also a very good sign, we can't wait to see more! Let's talk about Far Cry 5, which will release in the market not before March 27 (instead of February 27) and The Crew 2, whose debut slips by the first half of the next fiscal year (before September 30, 2018).
