Witchfire Is A Great Looking 'Dark Fantasy FPS' by The Astronauts

Witchfire was announced at The Game Awards 2017, which is a new game from The Astronauts, who developed The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

Witchfire, from The Astronauts, is described as a dark fantasy first-person shooter. Like the studio's most recent game, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Witchfire looks absolutely gorgeous. Although we don't have much information on the upcoming title, the awards ceremony did unveil the game's first official trailer in front of a worldwide audience. The team at The Astronauts was founded by former People Can Fly founder and creative director Adrian Chmielarz, artist Andrzej Poznanski, and animator Michal Kosieradzki.

Witchfire takes place in a gritty, dark world, full of monsters and zombies running rampant as you try to survive.

Witchfire uses the photogrammetry tech previously used in The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, which lets the developers 3D scan real-life objects - even entire buildings - and use them as digital assets.

There's now no concrete release date just yet.
