Alabama RB Bo Scarbrough to enter National Football League draft

The Coconut Creek, Fl. native arrived at Alabama in 2015 and actually had his most productive collegiate year during his freshman campaign, hauling in 89 receptions for 1,045 yards and seven scores.

The game-tying play helped make Tagovailoa the Crimson Tide's hero of the night and gave Ridley - who was quiet for much of the game - a chance to show off his exceptional talent in what was likely his last time in an Alabama uniform.

Scarbrough had 4 carries for 23 yards in the game.

In addition to Ridley, junior defensive tackle Da'Ron Payne, an All-SEC selection who was the defensive MVP of both the national championship and semifinal games, will also enter the draft, a source confirmed to ESPN.

With so many bodies clustered in the end zone - including four Bulldogs in the area - it's truly awesome how a pressured Tagovailoa was able to get this pass off as Ridley seemingly came out of nowhere to catch it.

For Penny, it was not so much about improving his draft stock as much as it was validating his collegiate production, and the 5-foot-11, 220-pounder lived up to the hype with a standout performance in a losing effort against the Army Black Knights in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl. Fellow freshman Henry Ruggs III caught 12 passes for 229 yards and six TDs.

He finished his career with the Crimson Tide with 224 passes caught for 2,781 yards and 19 touchdowns. He even scored a rushing touchdown.

Scarbrough rushed for 596 yards and eight touchdowns on 124 carries in his third and final season in Tuscaloosa.
