Firstly, the LG G7 will be powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 SoC, which will be mated to 6GB of RAM. As per the website details, the LG G7 will be featuring quick charge 4.0 onboard, which is now available with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and SNapdragon 845 System-on-Chipsets.

From the listing above we can see that LG's upcoming flagship is mentioned as "Future LG G7" under Quick Charge 4.0, confirming that the LG G7 will come with Quick Charge 4.0 support.

2017 has proved to be a successful year for LG as both the G6 and the V30 managed to attract a large number of consumers.

Now, according to the official LG UK website, it seems that the G7 is still in the company's future plans. The Snapdragon 835 is the first 10nm chipset from Qualcomm and when it was first announced in November 2016, it only used to carry support Quick Charge 4.0.

The new LG G7 may arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. In June 2017, Qualcomm had also introduced support for Quick Charge 4+ for the Snapdragon 835.

Last week, surprising details emerged from South Korea claiming that there won't be an LG G7 this year.

We already know that the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the S9+ will consume most of the initial batches of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoCs.

LG is due to launch its new flagship smartphone in the coming weeks.
