LG demonstrated a variety of products to showcase the new developments, including a 65-inch Art Glass display for TVs and 14-inch and 31.5-inch displays for monitors.

Samsung is not the only South Korean tech giant that is launching innovative TVs this year at CES 2018. In one demo, LG unrolled only about a third of the TV, turning it into an informational display that can show family photos, the weather, or play music.

More information is set to come when CES officially opens up tomorrow.

And, users will have access to 'more intelligent content information, ' to search soundtracks or casts, and even let the TV turn itself off when a program ends, without setting a specific time.

Ahead of the announcement, LG revealed a working roll-up TV that is also transparent when not in use.

LG has been teasing the concept since years now. The new OLED series will include the G8, C8, E8 and B8 series of televisions which will range from 55 to 75 inches.

It will have 731 percent more colour points than its predecessor, along with high frame support and Dolby Atmos Sound.
