Margot Robbie Recounts the Time Her Husband Flashed Ellen DeGeneres, Barack Obama

Hear what the athlete had to say about seeing Robbie play her in the big-screen biopic below!

"So, we walk into the gym and running on a treadmill is Ellen", Robbie shared.

"I'm gonna ask you some Australian-based questions, and you buzz in if you know the answer". "I'm scared because my husband is going to kill me for telling this story, but it's my favorite story ever", Robbie began the side-splitting tale. "And on the treadmill next to her is Portia, her wife", Robbie said.

After introducing themselves to one another, Degeneres chose to also connect Robbie with the person next to her on the treadmill. As if that wasn't enough celebrity (and, in Ackerley's case, embarrassment) for one hotel gym, there was another notable guest also working on his fitness that day: President Barack Obama. "I'm not kidding. In a gym that was tiny".

"Tom, meanwhile, is not trying to reveal anything and he's dying and I'm crying so much that I'm about to break a rib", she revealed to the audience.

After watching Ackerley lunging cross-legged in front of a former president, Degeneres backed up Robbie's original point that the shorts were way too short.

Margot Robbie married British director Tom Ackerley in 2016, however due to the filming schedule of I, Tonya, which the actress now stars in, they had to delay their honeymoon for a few months. You can not wear those shorts.

Margot said eventually Tom made a decision to cover up with a towel as they worked out as Margot said: 'And Ellen looks over and says "Boy those were the wrong shorts to wear today!"'

"I come across pink shorts and I'm like 'I know whose these are!'" Degeneres said.

"Ellen looks over and goes, 'Boy, those were the wrong shorts to wear today, '" Robbie recounts. Stars, they're nearly just like us, at least when it comes to the embarrassment at the gym.
