McGregor in epic shirtless face-off with Branson

McGregor and Branson came face-to-face because of an event at the Pendulum Summit in Dublin's Convention Centre.

The 67-year-old Virgin media tycoon Branson, who is known to cut people's ties before photos, jokingly pretended to cut McGregor's top.

Thankfully, for Branson, this time it was all just a happy stunt.

UFC lightweight powerhouse Khabib Nurmagomedov teases a fight announcement this week leaving many wondering if he'd be facing UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson or the undisputed (but MIA) champion Conor McGregor.

McGregor is the biggest draw in the UFC, but has not fought since taking the lightweight belt away from Eddie Alvarez in November 2016. Nobody is interested in fighting for a fake belt.

UFC boss Dana White said if McGregor doesn't fight until August or September, the Irishman wouldn't of defended his lightweight crown in over two years.

In the clip, you see Branson take off his shirt as he readies to go head-to-head with the UFC legend.

But because McGregor wants to wait to fight, these two men do not get a chance at the undisputed UFC title.

"As long as Conor is willing to [book a] fight by March, we could do Khabib (Nurmagomedov) versus Tony (Ferguson)". "We want the real belt, or we don't want nothing". "And he's going to make a big fight in the future, but I think Khabib and Tony is the big fight and f***, they might even do that one in Russian Federation".
