National Youth Festival 2018: PM Modi Says Youngsters Should Become Job Creators

This is the first time that the NYF is being organised in NCR.

He said that the character of Swami Vivekananda was an inspiration to the youth and his teachings were contemporary. "I want to once again congratulate our scientists".

He also assured the youth of the country that the government was working to ensure that start-ups are successful and young entrepreneurs can become job creators.

"We have to create India that our freedom fighters dreamt of".

Addressing the students of the Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida, Modi, via video- conferencing, said that the youth must not hesitate to innovate.

Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra said that every year BJYM activists celebrate the National Youth Day with great enthusiasm as it is the great way to wake up the eternal energy of the youths as well as their big efforts to make the country developed. The guest of honour on the occasion was Union Minister for Culture (Independent Charge) Mahesh Sharma.

"The State government will soon issue allowances for all eligible unemployed youngsters", said Minister for Youth, Sports, Skill Development, Unemployment Benefits, Kollu Ravindra as he addressed the gathering present. The objective of organizing NYF is to provide a platform to bring the youth of the country together in an attempt to provide them opportunity to showcase their talents in various activities.

He was inaugurating a programme on National Youth Day and the commencement of the Youth Week by the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the Karnatak College here on Friday. At a function held at the JNRM premises this morning, the Chief Secretary offered floral tributes at the statue of Swami Vivekananda, followed by the Adhyaksha Zilla Parishad South Andaman, Smt.
