"This f*cking idiot is the president" - Robert De Niro's speech in full

Legendary actor Robert De Niro has been an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump, and he continued to rail on the commander-in-chief Tuesday night, calling him the "jerk-off-in-chief."

Robert De Niro, for instance, has repeatedly criticized the "bullsh*t artist" president, whose victory in 2016 he compared to 9/11.

His harsh words - including "j--off in chief" and "f--ing fool", came during De Niro's speech introducing actress Meryl Streep, who plays the late Washington Post publisher Katharine Graham in Steven Spielberg's newspaper drama "The Post", which took home the award for best picture. "Today, the world is suffering from the real Donald Trump".

Discussing Streep's new film The Post, which portrays the staff at The Washington Post during the publication of The Pentagon Papers that detailed USA involvement in Vietnam, De Niro said the press was "under siege" from the president. What are we talking about?
