UPSC Civil Services Main Exam Results Declared on upsc

Of those who appeared for the mains, 2,565 have been selected for the personality test. Interestingly, it's for the first time that the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), that conducts the exam, has declared the results in January and it is in tune with the UPSC's decision to reduce the time cycle of the examination.

Of them, 75 to 90 aspirants are from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, according to estimates by city coaching experts. Of them, 13,366 qualified for the Mains, which was held from October 27 to November 3. The roll numbers of the candidates who have cleared the UPSC main is available on the official website.

Interviews are scheduled to commence from 19 February at the UPSC headquarters in New Delhi, the release said. The e-summon letter for the personality test of candidates called for interview may be downloaded from the commission's website from 18 January, it said. The following candidates have qualified for Personality Test for IAS, IPS, IFS and other central services.

The commission will not change the date & time of the personality test already intimated to the candidate. The e-Summon Letter of Personality Test of candidates being called for Interview may be downloaded from the Commission's Website http://www.upsc.gov.in from 18th Jan, 2018.

"All aspirants should prepare for the personality test in right earnest, as the interview marks will be a crucial determinant for their success and position in the merit list".

The qualified candidates have to fill up the addendum to Detailed Application Form (DAF) online for submitting zones and cadre preferences.
