Blake Lively Shows Off Her Post-Baby Body After Losing 61 Pounds

Blake Lively has got real about the truth behind her struggle to lose her baby weight.

Blake, who is also mum to three-year-old daughter James, shared that she had worked intensely hard to lose the weight and was proud of realising her goals.

Blake lost 61 pounds in weight, with the help of a personal trainer. For many, it doesn't happen overnight or even over the course of several years - and that's absolutely OK. With all the pressure for women to revert to their pre-pregnancy body, it's an important reminder that it takes work to look anything like you did before you grew a human child inside you for the best part of a year.

And no, it's not because she's married to Ryan Reynolds, is mother to two handsome daughters (James and Ines), and now starring as the lead in spy thriller, The Rhythm Section. But, according to the Instagram pictures the star posted today, it seems that she had finally removed her cast. 61 pounds in 14 months after baby number 2! 10 months to gain, 14 months to lose.

"Thanks @donsaladino for kicking my A double S into shape".

There's much to love about Blake Lively: whether it's her wicked sense of humour-particularly when it comes to trolling her husband, Ryan Reynolds-or her cute-as-a-button kids, Lively manages to combine cool-girl with relatable. Ultimately, Lively's protagonist Nancy ended up surviving her harrowing shark attack, so perhaps she's been prepping to possibly film a sequel. "Doesn't she look awesome?"

In his speech, proud dad Reynolds gushed about his family and said: "I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is sitting right there, who is everything to me".

During an interview at the time, she revealed her secret: 'No processed foods'.

Lively stated, however, that her daughters need to know that there's a completely normal life outside of being a celebrity.
