Last year, de Blob returned to modern platforms via a remaster.
THQ Nordic has announced that the platform-puzzle game called de Blob is making its way to yet another new platform, with the game now in development for Switch. THQ Nordic takes the role of publisher, while BlitWorks once again works on the development of the port. The popular puzzle platformer was originally released in 2008 for the Wii, and was recently ported to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One by developer Blitworks in November 2017. It finally rounds out the current generation with a Nintendo Switch release.
While de Blob 2 is still no where to be seen for the Switch, the original de Blob is set to land on the console at some point later in 2018. The evil I.N.K.T. Corporation has declared 'Color is a Crime!' and leeched Chroma City of all its beauty and interest. It's up to titular character Blob to restore order and add new life and color to the black-and-white city.
The more color you implant into the environment, the more the game world changes and evolves, including the music becoming more electric, and the environment having more bounce and pizazz. Well be sure to report on a release date once it gets announced.
