Get Out is returning to theaters for free on President's Day

Jordan Peele's Oscar-nominated movie will return to select AMC theaters on President's Day - for no charge.

Universal Pictures and Jordan Peele are thanking fans for their support over the past year by teaming with AMC Theatres for special free screenings of Get Out on Presidents' Day this month, February 19. The family has ulterior motives for meeting him, and Chris realizes the true intent of the visit. You'll want to line up early, as each location will host only one 7:00 p.m. screening and tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis on that day.

A free screening of the Oscar-nominated horror film "Get Out' is set for 7 p.m. February 19 at the AMC Waterfront 22 in Homestead".

The Feb. 19 freebie comes nearly exactly a year after the movie was first released.

There isn't a comprehensive list of participating theaters available, but there are 55 different locations across the United States hosting these free screenings, all at 7pm local time. "The success of his stunning vision would not have been possible without the audience's passion for both Get Out's groundbreaking storytelling and its deft use of art as society's mirror".

It's not surprising that Get Out is getting a re-release in theaters. The film is still massively popular with fans thanks to the longevity of Peele's masterpiece and its ability to live beyond the big screen.

Plenty have championed Get Out over the past year, and it's nice to see a movie so deserving of acclaim receive the recognition it deserves at the Academy Awards.
