Meizu E3 Full Specifications Leaked Well Ahead of Launch Through TENAA Listing

There's no shortage of affordable 18:9 mid-range smartphones with impressively thin screen bezels right now, several of which have been released in China first by local brands Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi or OPPO.

The Meizu m851m and m851q are speculated as network variants of the Meizu E3 smartphone.

According to latest rumors, Meizu will be launching two variants of the E3 at launch - G and P. The G variant will be targeted at gaming, while the P model will focus on photography. Talking about the design, the Meizu E3 and Meizu M6s look similar from the front. The images of the phone reveal that it will be arriving with a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

It comes with metal unibody design and sports curved antenna bands on the top and bottom edges. On the rear, the Meizu E3 sports dual cameras placed on the top left corner.

The overall product dimensions of 156.8 x 75 x 7.6mm are nearly identical to the measurements of the popular Honor 7X, although the Meizu M3 seems to ambitiously cap off at 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The listing mentioned the smartphone to sport 5.99-inch display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution.

As for specs, the devices pack a non-descript 1.8Ghz octacore processor, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB storage, earphone jack and a 3300mAh battery. In terms of software, the smartphone will be running on the now outdated Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box. The Meizu E3 is rumoured to be priced at CNY 2,000 (approximately Rs 20,300) and will be unveiled on March 6. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
