While clearly both cameras are aimed at different types of photographers, if there is one feature that they both can shoot and record 4K video at framerates of 30fps and 24fps, which while not exactly the buttery-smooth 60fps that some are hoping for, is still pretty good enough for regular videography work. The price for the Panasonic Lumix GX9 is set at $999 (approximately Rs. 64,070) with a 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens, while the Lumix ZS200 will be available at $799.99 (roughly Rs. 51,300). It has 20MP Live MOS image sensor similar to the Lumix GX8 but misses out on the low-pass filter, that is powered by the Venus Engine.

The contrast-based autofocusing system uses Depth from Defocus technology offering high speed AF at approx. As its name may suggest, Auto Marking in 4K Photo mode automatically marks points in a video clip where it detects action, while Sequence Composition can put multiple moving subject frames onto a static background for cool moving action stills.

The camera also supports 6fps burst shooting with continuous AF and 9fps option specifically when shooting with single shot AF mode. Besides, the Post Focus mode allows users to change the focus in the existing shots. It has 15x optical zoom-supported Leica lens with a 35mm equivalent of 24-360mm focal length. The camera supports macro focusing at a distance of 3cm. The camera also includes versatile 4K Photo and Video modes, along with Bluetooth Low Energy connection to smartphones. It packs a 20,1MP BSI CMOS sensor and has an inbuilt flash. Plus, you'll have the 10fps burst shooting option when using the AF-S mode or 6fps burst on the AF-C mode. (Optical Image Stabilizer, two-axis) and B.I.S. (Body Image Stabilizer, five-axis) to reduce any blur from shaky hands.

The 0.21-inch Live View Finder on the ZS200 gets a resolution bump over the previous model, now packing in 2,330K (equivalent) dots compared to 1,166K on the ZS100. The Lumix XZ200 will also be available in March where it will be priced at $800.
