American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace. Murphy is now at work on the third and fourth seasons, about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, respectively. The procedural drama, 9-1-1, which has become a sleeper hit, will remain on Fox, and his new drama about the 1980s NY vogue scene, Pose, with a mostly transgender cast, will proceed at FX.

His upcoming musical drama series, "Pose", is expected to premiere in the summer.

Which shows will be on Netflix?

The Netflix deal arrives after Murphy said he was taking a "wait-and-see" approach to determining his future with 20th Television in the wake of the studio's pending sale to Disney. Murphy has expressed apprehension about his future at Fox when the deal was announced in January, saying at TCA that he chose to "wait and sit back and talk to my friends who are my bosses and see what's happening to them, and make a decision once we see what's happening".

Disney has already announced plans to remove content from Netflix in 2019, in anticipation of creating its own streaming service.

Netflix's coup in bringing Murphy onboard will likely increase friction between the two companies.
