Apple makes deal for its first animated series from 'Bob's Burgers' creator

According to Variety, Apple is continuing its series-programming slate adding its first animated show CENTRAL PARK.

Produced by 20th Century Fox Television - where Bouchard is under an overall deal - "Central Park" stars Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Titus Burgess, Kristen Bell, Stanley Tucci, Daveed Diggs, and Kathryn Hahn.

Written by Bouchard with Josh Gad and Nora Smith, the show is about a family of caretakers who save the famous park as well as the world.

Bouchard and Gad executive produce alongside Brillstein Entertainment Partners, with Smith serving as consulting producer.

As reported by Variety, Apple has ordered two, 13 episode seasons of Central Park which is a musical comedy by Loren Bouchard and 20th Century Fox. The show got a two-season, 26-episode order. The studio is best known for other animated series such as The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, and American Dad!. Given that we're only just hearing about this now, it might take a while before Central Park is released.

It also marks the first animated comedy series in the streaming space for 20th TV.
