Former President Barack Obama picks Michigan State to win NCAA Tournament

Former President Barack Obama picks Michigan State to win NCAA Tournament

Our 44th President, Barack Obama, made Presidential Bracketology popular when he started filling out his bracket with ESPN's Andy Katz during a segment they called "Barack-etology".

Obama has filled out a bracket and released it publicly since 2009, his first year in office. The Senator from Texas has UNC losing in the second round to Texas A&M. Obama tweeted out his entire bracket, and he has MSU going head-to-head with Virginia in the final round.

Michigan State is one of the most-popular picks this year.

The picks were posted Wednesday on the Obama Foundation's website.

However, his Sweet 16 features exclusively 1-5 seeds.

For the Final Four, he pegs two No. 1s, a No. 2 and a No. 3.

All four schools are located in battleground states that, with the exception of Virginia, voted Republican in the 2016 election. So Obama may be out on a limb, but it's a sturdy one. Again, Obama has three of the No. 9 seeds advancing in the first round.

And he has UConn winning it all, of course.

In the men's bracket, Obama has Michigan State defeating Virginia in the title game.

Poring through the hundreds of submissions we receive every day, it's clear that people are turning to sports to make a positive impact in their own communities and bring people together. Maybe he's trying to pander to voters on behalf of the Democratic Party.

March Madness brings all types of fans, celebrities and public figures to fill out brackets in hopes of winning prizes and bragging rights.
