Nokia 9 to feature an In-Display Fingerprint Sensor

At the MWC event, HMD Global had taken the wraps off for its Nokia 8 Sirocco handset just in the previous month.

The HMD-backed Nokia managed to ship 8.5 million smartphones in 2017 and a full 4.15 million in the last quarter of 2017, and was one of the most talked about companies at Mobile World Congress 2018. This improved edition of Nokia 8 flagship was introduced with bells and whistles. Some reports in the past have suggested that the Nokia 9 could be advertised as the Nokia 8 Pro, which will join the series comprising of the yesteryear's Nokia 8 and the recently announced Nokia 8 Sirocco.

Talking about the Nokia smartphones: they are the cheap Nokia 8 Pro and the premium Nokia 9 device.

According to the recent information from a Baidu user via Nokia Latest, the upcoming flagship smartphone - Nokia 9 will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, some reports claim that it may feature a pair of 16-megapixel snappers.

Nokia 8 Pro will be a premium smartphone with the latest Snapdragon 845 processor. For the front, there would be a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The images show the smartphone featuring a glass back with a dual-camera setup on the back in a vertical arrangement at the centre and a huge 18:9 display. As per the report, the Nokia 8 Pro is expected to arrive with a lower price tag. This indicates that it may carry support for wireless charging.

The Nokia 8 Pro is set to appear with some impressive features.
