Schwarzenegger says he wants to sue oil companies for first-degree murder

Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't one to shy away from a challenge, and this time he's given himself a particularly intimidating task.

The former California governor said in an interview with Politico's Off Message podcast that he is speaking with private law firms over the matter.

Schwarzenegger compared what he said was oil companies' willful disregard of the risks associated with fossil fuels and global warming to big tobacco's attempts to cover up the detrimental side effects of smoking.

"Every gas station, every auto should have a warning label on it; every product that has fossil fuels should have a warning label on it". "Because to me it's absolutely irresponsible to know that your product is killing people and not have a warning label on it, like tobacco", Schwarzenegger said, adding gas stations should have warning signs that oil kills.

In what would be termed "Gropegate", six women came forward in 2003 to say Schwarzenegger, then a candidate for governor, touched them without consent.

While Schwarzenegger appears to be talking about oil companies' disastrous effect on the environment as a whole, he could just as easily be referring to an incident that saw 10 activists get tortured and killed in Nigeria.

He later said "I don't think there's any difference: If you walk into a room and you know you're going to kill someone, it's first degree murder; I think it's the same thing with the oil companies". "I think it's the same thing with the oil companies".

Recently, it was also reported that Terminator star Schwarzenegger will play a significant part in the screen adaptation of the cult short Kung Fury. In doing so, he gave 50 state legislators information as to how they could pass climate change legislation.

Schwarzenegger also took several shots at President Donald Trump, including a joke about the plot of his next Terminator movie, which begins production in Europe in June.

It may be hard for him to find massive amounts of support for this extreme initiative. In response, the world famous bodybuilder plans to file lawsuits, contending Big Oil has a history of producing a risky product while continuing a campaign of denial and secrecy.

De Blasio urged local authorities in cities and municipalities to use their "litigation powers" to make Big Oil pay billions for the damages that the industry has done to the planet and "get the resources back".

Until then, it may be hard for him to find massive amounts of support for this extreme and seemingly wasteful initiative.
