Taylor Swift accused of copying 2016 ad for her new 'Delicate' video

The cutest moment in the music video is the part where Taylor is seen making faces.

Swift's video, which was released Sunday night, had similarities to the advertisement from Kenzo, which was created by Academy Award-winning director Spike Jonze, the New York Daily News reported.

In Swift's video, the pop star, who becomes bored with being interviewed by the press, also makes amusing faces in the mirror before realizing she is invisible.

In this advert, actress Margaret Qualley is seen attending a formal event, before wandering off on her own, pulling some odd faces in a luxury hotel corridor and showing off some enthusiastic choreography of her own.

The video shows off the very best of Swift and what endears her to her legions of fans - the ideal of a goofy and real person that always manages to fight its way up through her veneer of celebrity.

The video for "Delicate", directed by her frequent collaborator Joseph Kahn, is about an global celebrity - in this case, Swift - who suddenly becomes invisible to the masses while attending a fancy event.

Social media users were quick to point out the similarities. Delicate was directed by Taylor's frequent collaborator Joseph Kahn, who previously faced criticism for appearing to borrow imagery from Beyonce's 2016 Formation video for Swift's Look What You Made Me Do promo last summer (17).

Swift has not yet commented on the claim.
