Warren Buffett Offers Big Money for Bracket Challenge

Warren Buffett Offers Big Money for Bracket Challenge

Berkshire Hathaway employees will have a chance to win as much as $2 million a year for life in their office pool for the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

Buffett says an employee at his company, Berkshire Hathaway, will get $1 million a year for life if they come up with the flawless bracket. That's not all because Buffett is sweeting the deal further: if a team from his home state of Nebraska gets the national title, he will offer extra rewards.

Berkshire Hathaway employees don't have to get the flawless bracket to bring home some extra cash. So instead of $1 million, the grand total will be $2 million for the victor.

"If either Creighton or Nebraska ends up winning the tournament, we're going to double the prize".

While this is an unbelievable offer, the odds of willing either are astronomically high.

To win Buffett's challenge this year, someone will have to correctly predict 48 games in order to select a ideal Sweet 16. In 2014, Buffett offered a cool billion to the humble American idiot who could pick a flawless wire-to-wire bracket.

He also offered $100,000 to the longest surviving bracket in 2016, which was split between two employees in 2016.
